Aux Cables

I'm only hearing audio out of one channel. Is this normal?

Audio should always play through both sides of speakers. If you are only hearing audio through one side, please contact our support team so that we can try to help. You can reach us from 9am-4pm CST Monday through Friday at 800-208-2996.

Does this work with the 3rd generation iPod shuffle?

It will work, but we cannot claim compatibility because it's not as easy to set up as we'd like. You will need to:

  • Set the shuffle's playback volume via the Apple-supplied headphones (we recommend around 85%).
  • Unplug the headphones and plug in the Auxiliary Audio Cable.
  • Toggle the shuffle's power switch to off, then back to on again to initiate audio playback.
  • Now that you have music playing on the shuffle, you can use the Auxiliary Audio Cable as you would with other iPods and audio devices.
